Friends of the RAAF Museum Inc. Merz Lecture
The 2025 Merz Lecture will be held on Saturday 22nd November in the Technology Hangar, RAAF Museum, Williams Road, RAAF Point Cook.
Professor Smart is a medical doctor, health leader, aerospace medicine specialist, and retired RAAF senior officer. During 35 years of service, Prof Smart served in tactical, operational and strategic roles; on many overseas deployments.
Prof Smart is currently Professor, Military and Aerospace Medicine at the Australian National University working in the subject areas of space medicine.

When registering for the 2025 Merz Lecture you can register as well for the 2025 AGM by simply clicking the radio button to 'YES' whilst registering, removing the requirement to complete a registration form for each event.
The order of proceedings for the day are as follows:
10.00am Merz Lecture (details below)
11.15am 100 Squadron Hangar Tour
12.30pm Lunch
1.30pm - 2.45pm AGM
Attendance is free to Members and their partners, but registration is essential. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. We encourage as many members to join us on the day for the formal sessions as well as the chance to look over the 100 Squadron hangars then a bit of social engagement over lunch as well as the opportunity to look over the Friends Gift Shop (10% discount for member purchases). before heading to the AGM.

Can't Attend This AGM?
If you cannot attend the 2025 AGM, we kindly request that you submit an online proxy to ensure your vote is counted.
Note: Normal base entry requirements require during registration for this event to collect the names of all visitors as well as the registration of the vehicle and a contact phone number.
On arrival at the gate on the day of the event, photo Id will need to be produced and verified for each visitor, then individual visitor passes will issued.
